A landmine survivor from Zimbabwe named Blessing was recently featured on the TV show The Doctors. Blessing received reconstructive surgery after suffering life-threatening injuries to his face and body from an exploded landmine. His story is one of inspiration but also education, as the need to raise awareness about the dangers of landmines remains extremely high. Please watch this short video clip of Blessing’s TV appearance to learn more about his amazing story of survival and the need to support international efforts to end human and economic suffering caused by anti-personnel landmines.
