It's time to finish the job and put an end to the scourge of landmines.
It can be difficult to imagine living in constant fear of landmines. It’s difficult to imagine warning your children to avoid a rusting pile of landmines on their way to school. It’s difficult to imagine finding a mortar shell in a tree stump, or a rocket round sticking out of the mud after a heavy rain. However, thousands of Cambodians face these fears every day. This is why large parts of Cambodia are still unSAFE, and why we need your help.
Every little bit counts
Our partners at Cambodian Self Help Demining operate demining and explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) teams in rural Cambodia. When villagers find mines or other weapons, one of five EOD teams are dispatched to neutralize the explosives and conduct mine risk education. The Canadian Landmine Foundation is proud to sponsor
Get inspired by our cause! Donate today to help fund EOD team 5's life-saving work in Cambodia's mine-affected communities. It's time we bring action and awareness to the threat landmines pose to innocent lives everyday. With your help we can continue to support the ongoing demining in Cambodia.
Wear Your Commitment on Your Wrist
All donations are welcome and needed. Each EOD team requires $3,500 per month to operate, and your gift will help them save lives in the field.
Our #onemineonelife campaign wishes to thank supporters with a special gift. Donors who make a one time donation of 500 dollars or a 12-moth committment of 50 dollars per month will recieve a made-in-Cambodia bracelet. Crafter out of metal recovered from explosive remnants of war, they are inscribed with the phrase One Mine One Life in Khmer and in English.
