From May 14th – 18th 2024, Team 6 held 15 risk education sessions in four villages in Tumnob Dach Commune, Trapeang Prasat District of Oddar Meanchey province. 361 people learned how to keep themselves and their friends and family safe from forgotten explosives, including school kids in in Saen Sokh Village.

Explosive ordnance risk education teaches people how to recognize and avoid unexploded weapons, even if they’ve been buried and forgotten for decades. Because when you live with landmines, knowing how to spot one is a matter of life and death.
