From August 16th-21st 2024, Team 6 held 15 risk education sessions in five villages inTuek Kraham Commune, Choam Khsant District of Preah Vihear Province. It was the Team’s first visit to four of the villages and 702 people attended sessions.
Explosive ordnance risk education teaches people how to recognize and avoid unexploded weapons, even if they’ve been buried and forgotten for decades. Because when you live with landmines, knowing how to spot one is a matter of life and death.
