From May 21st – 23rd 2024, Team 6 held 9 risk education sessions in four villages in Trampaong Tbong Village, Preah Pralay Commune, Trapeang Prasat District of Oddar Meanchey Province. 299 people learned how to keep themselves their friends and family safe from forgotten explosives.
Explosive ordnance risk education teaches people how to recognize and avoid unexploded weapons, even if they’ve been buried and forgotten for decades. Because when you live with landmines, knowing how to spot one is a matter of life and death.
