From April 2nd – 9th Team 6 held 24 risk education sessions across Doun Peaeng Commune, located in Angkor Chum district of Siem Reap province.
The Team visited a new village every day, with a total of 977 people attending sessions during this first visit to Doun Peaeng.
Explosive ordnance risk education teaches people how to recognize and avoid unexploded weapons, even if they’ve been buried and forgotten for decades. Because when you live with landmines, knowing how to spot one is a matter of life and death.
