Handicap International recently announced that Brazilian soccer star Neymar Jr. has accepted an offer to be an official ambassador.
Through this partnership, Neymar is lending his huge fame to a good cause: empowering the most vulnerable people in the world, people with disabilities living in poor countries, victims of conflicts and natural disasters.

Handicap International introduced Neymar Jr. as an official ambassador at an event in Geneva. The soccer star immediately sent a message of support to people with disabilities around the world, calling for more inclusion of people with disabilities in society. He then kicked a soccer ball down the Allée des Nations in front of the Palace of Nations.
Neymar Jr.’s fame will surely bring much-needed attention to a range of important issues, including the ongoing landmine crisis. The Canadian Landmine Foundation will continue to report updates.
