Team 6 took to the field for 17 days in October, teaching 48 risk education sessesions in 13 different villages in Khvav Commune, Chi Kraeng district of Siem Reap Province.

In Sroang village they spent two days at the local school, where more than 700 people attended classes. During just half a month in the field almost 3,000 people learned how to keep themselves safe at classes hosted by Team 6.

Explosive ordnance risk education teaches people how to recognize and avoid unexploded weapons, even if they’ve been buried and forgotten for decades. Because when you live with landmines, knowing how to spot one is a matter of life and death.
