Team 6 took to the field for 23 days in October, teaching 67 risk education sessesions in 7 different villages in Chi Kraeng district of Siem Reap Province.

The team spent the most time in Ou village where 836 people attended classes over 11 days. All told, 1,774 people came out to these sessions. The team will be back in the field in mid-November.  

Explosive ordnance risk education teaches people how to recognize and avoid unexploded weapons, even if they’ve been buried and forgotten for decades. Because when you live with landmines, knowing how to spot one is a matter of life and death.
